Nicole Lester Arrindell is a wife, mother, attorney, entrepreneur, speaker, and an advocate for social and economic justice. As Associate General Counsel at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, she manages a team of attorneys and consumer protection advocates charged with protecting the rights of countless victims of fraud, predatory lending, and illegal debt collection practices. She is the Owner and President of NLA Strategies LLC, a consulting firm focused on helping high-achieving rising leaders become more influential, results-driven, and confident. Nicole was recognized in 2018 by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke as a Shining Star and in 2016 by City & State magazine as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star in New York City. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law; Local Advisory Board Member for Generation Citizen; Board Member for the Metropolitan Black Bar Association; Secretary of the New York City Bar Association’s New York City Affairs Committee; and mentor to law students and young professionals.
